ATHLETE MENTORSHIP PROGRAM
(AMP)
STRENGTH TRAINING - CONDITIONING - SPEED - POWER- MINDFULNESS - NUTRITION - PREPERATION
The objective of this program is to help young athletes navigate the world of being a student athlete and how to best prepare for LIFE. This program is for all student athletes from middle school through High School and into College.
IT’S MORE THAN JUST ON THE FIELD!
Striving for excellence on the court or field is important, but who are you when you step off? At IMPACT we say BE THAT PERSON. Be a light to those around you. Be a leader in the community. Be strong enough to understand our weaknesses. Be ok with failing and learning how not to make the same mistake twice. This is what it means to BE THAT PERSON!

This world of club sports and the reality that we are living in a much different environment with technology, means how we used to do things has to evolve, so that we do not miss our moment. The window to be an athlete is small, and how do we know we are doing enough, too much, or going the wrong way for our children? In all reality we just want our children to be good humans! The process of chasing a dream can teach us so much if we have structure, consistency and core values. This is OUR WHY!

THE PROGRAM
This program is not OUR program, but a program that best suits the athlete. We have pillars that we must ensure are in place, however each athlete is different so therefore the program must be tailored to meet them where they are.

WHAT IS YOUR WHY?: If we do not consistently check in with ourselves to see if we are heading where we want to go, then how can we expect to get there?
We have monthly meetings to ensure we keep track of our why. It may move, IT WILL MOVE, and we need to discuss how and what needs to change to get there!
TRAIN WITH PURPOSE: Everytime you step on the field, in the weightroom and in the classroom, have a purpose.
This is the motor of what we do. We TRAIN. WE TRAIN to be better athletes, to get stronger, to understand our bodies and what they can do, and to excel in our sport, and in LIFE. This is where the knowledge of training not only athletes, but coaches and trainers comes out.

This is what you hear from the flight attendants before taking off. You as a coach have the inherent responsiblity to LEAD, EDUCATE and GROW our youth. If it's one thing that we know its that when we learn, we want to share it. This is in our DNA as coaches and mentors. Our COACHING CLINICS focus on the foundations of becoming an athlete.

SETTING A FOUNDATION

Our SETTING A FOUNDATION Clinic is the IFF staple clinic that is offered with all newly renovated fitness spaces. We discuss the BASICS of TRAINING, WARM UP ROUTINES and The FOUNDATIONAL MOVEMENTS along with the HOW.

FINDING A WHY/KEEP MOVING FORWARD

This Clinic is geared more towards the mental side of the student athlete and how we as coaches need to adjust our methods as we navigate this new generation.
